About konnect insights

An AI-powered mobile app platform built for Shopify brands that want to own performance

Konnect Insights unifies social listening, online reputation management, ticketing, analytics, social CRM, publishing, automation, and AI-driven support tools into a single platform, giving businesses centralised visibility over every customer interaction across social media, WhatsApp, email, reviews, live chat, and call centres.

Konnect Insights primarily targets mid-market and enterprise brands in high-interaction industries: banking, aviation, retail, ecommerce, telecom, hospitality, and consumer goods. These are brands managing enormous volumes of customer interactions that need both the intelligence to understand what is happening and the infrastructure to act on it fast.

The Challenge

A Google spam update erased years of organic equity and exposed what was always broken

Konnect Insights had invested in SEO before coming to Contensify. They had an in-house content team, prior agency relationships, and a published content library. The inputs were in place. The foundation was not.

When Google’s spam update rolled through, everything that had been built stopped ranking. What the loss exposed was that the foundation was never solid to begin with. Five compounding problems defined the pre-Contensify state.

  • Organic traffic in decline
Every blog that had previously ranked lost its position after the spam update. Traffic that had been steady was falling, and the trajectory was getting worse, not better.
  • Keyword cannibalisation throughout the site
Multiple pages were targeting the same search intent, competing against each other and confusing search engines about which page deserved to rank. The site architecture was fractured.
  • Content that brought zero leads
Existing content was neither attracting the right audience nor converting the traffic it did get. The organic channel had become a cost with no measurable return.
  • Volume as strategy
Content was being published without a coherent keyword framework, competitive intelligence, or ICP alignment. Volume alone was not working.
  • Quality that could not compete
Most existing content was AI-generated, thin, and unable to stand up against the depth and authority of what Sprout Social, Sprinklr, and other well-resourced competitors were publishing.

The Engagement

Strategic partner for content. Execution partner for SEO and GEO. Built around commercial gaps.

Cleanup first. Then build.

Because Konnect Insights already had an in-house content team, the engagement model was designed accordingly. Contensify provided highly detailed SEO blog briefs, strategy, and oversight while the internal team executed content production. This kept quality high and aligned every piece to the strategic framework from brief to publish. Before any new content was briefed, the existing library was the priority.

  • Competitor & Content Gap Analysis
Deep audit of Sprout Social, Sprinklr, and category leaders to map where Konnect Insights could realistically compete and where authority had to be built first.
  • Technical SEO & Crawl Analysis
Full crawl audit covering site architecture, cannibalisation, indexability, crawl budget, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and redirect chains.
  • Cannibalisation Remediation
Identified and resolved pages competing against each other for the same intent, consolidating authority and clarifying the site’s signal to search engines.
  • Blog Refresh Programme
15 blog refreshes per month targeting thin, underperforming, and post-penalty content. The fastest path to recovering lost equity and demonstrating ROI early.
  • Detailed SEO Blog Briefs
Comprehensive briefs for Konnect Insights’ in-house team covering search intent, target keywords, competitor analysis, structure, internal linking, and depth requirements.
  • Comparison Pages & Listicles
High-converting formats built to capture buyers actively evaluating CXM platforms and researching alternatives to incumbent providers.
  • GEO / AEO Optimisation
Content structured to be cited by Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity, with specific focus on the US market and enterprise buyer journeys.
  • Monthly Reporting + Bi-weekly Calls
Regular syncs incorporating market trends, positioning shifts, and signals from the sales team’s conversations to keep the strategy live.

Use Cases

Recovering from a Google Penalty with a Site Cleanup-First Strategy

  • The Challenge
Most agencies respond to a traffic decline by producing more content. The diagnosis here was clear: the existing content library was the problem, not a lack of new output. Thin articles, cannibalised pages, and poor site architecture were suppressing the entire domain. Publishing more on top of a broken foundation would compound the problem, not solve it.
  • Contensify’s Approach
The engagement opened with a comprehensive technical SEO and crawl audit mapping every cannibalisation issue, thin page, structural flaw, and internal linking gap across the site. The first two months were dominated by a 15-refreshes-per-month programme, rehabilitating the existing library and resolving cannibalisation before any new content was added on top.
  • The Results
250% growth in relevant traffic across 50 tracked keywords within two months. Measurable ROI before a single net-new piece of content had compounded, proving that fixing what exists is often faster than building from scratch.

Capturing Enterprise Buyers Dissatisfied with Incumbent Platforms

  • The Challenge
Enterprise buyers evaluating CXM platforms are almost always switching from something. Sprinklr, Sprout Social, and other established platforms have high awareness but also high dissatisfaction rates among certain buyer segments. Konnect Insights needed to intercept these buyers at the exact moment their frustration became a search.
  • Contensify’s Approach
Comparison content and listicles were built to target in-market buyers actively researching alternatives, including “Sprinklr alternatives” and “best CXM platforms for [industry]” formats. Built with genuine depth, real product differentiation, and the specificity needed to earn trust from a sophisticated enterprise buyer.
  • The Results
#1 listicles and comparison pages became the highest-performing demo-capture formats. Getting cited for “best CXM platforms for [industries]” in both traditional search and AI tools created a compounding inbound motion that drove organic demos consistently.

Pivoting from Social Listening to CXM Without Losing Momentum

  • The Challenge
Mid-engagement, Konnect Insights shifted their primary identity from a social listening tool to a full CXM platform. This wasn’t a minor messaging update. It required a wholesale reassessment of keyword strategy, content architecture, and the competitive set, without destroying the equity already built.
  • Contensify’s Approach
Contensify paused new production and conducted a full content audit against the updated positioning. Existing content was evaluated for relevance, intent alignment, and salvageability. The keyword strategy was rebuilt from scratch around CXM-first commercial terms, with specific targeting of US-market searches where Konnect Insights had the strongest growth ambition.
  • The Results
0 traffic setback during the pivot. Within the same engagement, Konnect Insights began getting cited in the US region for CXM-related keywords and AI prompts. A positioning win that a slower or more rigid agency would have struggled to achieve mid-flight.

Establishing Generative Engine Presence for Enterprise Buyer Journeys

  • The Challenge
Enterprise CXM buyers increasingly begin their research in AI tools before they ever open a browser tab. For Konnect Insights to compete in markets like the US, being present in AI-generated answers was not optional. It was a requirement for top-of-funnel visibility.
  • Contensify’s Approach
Every content asset was structured with generative AI surfaces in mind, formatted to be citable, built with depth that AI models can extract, and positioned around the exact questions enterprise buyers ask when evaluating CXM platforms. Content authority, third-party signals, and structured entity relationships were engineered to increase the probability of being surfaced.
  • The Takeaway
150+ AI prompts where Konnect Insights is now cited or mentioned, including US-region citations for CXM-specific searches. The brand now shows up at the very beginning of the enterprise buyer’s research process, before they visit a single website.

The Relationship

From a declining organic channel and a broken site to a compounding pipeline engine built by treating strategy as seriously as execution

01 / The Starting Point

Penalised, cannibalised, and declining.
Konnect Insights came to Contensify with an organic channel in decline, a content library full of cannibalised and penalised pages, and a product that had just made a significant positioning shift. The brief required both strategic clarity and executional speed.

02 / The Build

Foundation first. Then compound.
Contensify rebuilt the organic foundation from the ground up. Site architecture, cannibalisation remediation, keyword strategy, detailed briefs for the in-house team, comparison content, GEO/AEO optimisation, backlinks, and a distribution strategy. Every decision connected to owning the CXM category in search and AI.

03 / The Expansion

Strategy rebuilt around the new brief.
When Konnect Insights shifted positioning from social listening to CXM, Contensify rebuilt the strategy without losing momentum. Treating a client’s business reality as the brief, not a disruption to the plan, is what a real strategic partnership looks like.

Why Contensify

What makes the difference

  • Strategy before content
Every keyword, brief, and format is built around commercial priorities and ICP behaviour, not output for output’s sake.
  • Technical SEO that goes deep
Cannibalisation remediation, crawl optimisation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and structured data. The invisible work that makes everything else compound.
  • Refreshes that recover faster
When an existing library is working against you, fixing it is faster and higher-ROI than building fresh. Contensify does both, in the right order.
  • Built for AI search
GEO and AEO optimisation across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews, because your buyers are researching before they search.
  • Formats that drive demos
Comparison pages, listicles, use case pages, and benchmark reports built to convert enterprise buyers, not pad a content calendar.
  • A strategy that adapts
Product pivots, positioning shifts, new market priorities. Contensify rebuilds around your business reality, not the original brief.
